Hey you,
yeah you,
you heard me right.

Why so rigid?
Why so tight?

Your life’s lived like
an uncracked safe,
holding secrets,
as you chafe

my final nerve.

You closemouthed wretch,
sailing your ketch

so far away
from conversation,
miles from pesky
observation.

I hear, ‘Aw shucks.’
(see what I did there?)

Your skilled deflection
putrid and unfair.

Look at me,
I can’t be clearer…

I frown,
and glare
into the mirror.

Buh-Bye

Bitch you’re busted

and I’m

disgusted.

You were loved

but only lusted

while I trusted,

readjusted

avoiding thoughts

unjust, combusted,

pretending life’s

robust stardusted.

Now I’m the one

who’s maladjusted

and

you’re just simply

done

and dusted.
